From 1 October 2021 to 21 August 2022 Brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado is on show at the National Museum of 21st Century Arts (MAXXI) in Rome.
The exhibition, which consists of over 200 photos and is being shown for the first time in Italy, is the result of several expeditions made by the photographer to Amazonia over a period of six years. Thanks to Jean-Michel Jarre’s soundtrack reproducing the sounds of trees, rivers and birds, visiting the exhibition means immersing oneself in a fragile and ancestral ecosystem.
Vivenda, as MAXXI’s media partner, made its facilities at Campo de’ Fiori, one of the most visited and evocative locations in the capital, available for the promotion of the exhibition.
