Before proceeding with the restoration, Vivenda carried out diagnostic and stratigraphic investigations that revealed the building’s state of decay.
The work on the Piazza Paoli building was aimed at the restoration and renovation of structural, architectural and decorative elements.
The action involved restoring the integrity of the roofs and elements of the exterior and interior façades, using compatible materials and techniques similar to the originals.
Cornices, mullions and parapets were also restored, while stuccoes, plasterwork, cornices and thresholds were overhauled.
The work was concluded with the painting of the building.
