Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is one of the most important arteries in Rome. It runs through the heart of the historic center, dividing Piazza Campo de’ Fiori from Piazza Navona, and connecting the Lungotevere to Largo Argentina. Near the area are also Castel Sant’Angelo and St. Peter’s. The space of the facility is angular and frontal, even with respect to the traffic coming from Via degli Acciaioli, the only access passage from the Lungotevere.
