The restoration of the palace located in Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina, one of the most elegant squares in Rome, at the entrance of Campo Marzio and just a few steps from the bustling Via del Corso, has recently been completed, returning to the city an even more fascinating historical landmark. Situated close to the Parliament, the building underwent a delicate conservative restoration, which preserved the authenticity of its historical value, intervening only where necessary, fully respecting its documentary significance.
The facades, damaged by time, were thoroughly treated: the plaster was cleaned and consolidated, restoring the most deteriorated areas without altering its original appearance. The stucco frames and wooden windows were carefully restored, bringing back their original beauty. The windows, which had suffered from degradation, were treated with oleosynthetic enamel, ensuring long-lasting protection.
With this intervention, the palace has regained its brilliance in the heart of one of Rome’s most iconic squares, perfectly blending with its historical and urban context.
